Responsibilities:
  • Interact with the sales lead to maintain and improve service and product knowledge

The responsibilities of a Salesman typically include:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Actively seeking potential customers and generating leads through various methods like cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Establishing and nurturing positive relationships with customers to gain their trust and loyalty.
  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrating a deep understanding of the products or services being sold and effectively communicating their benefits to customers.
  • Sales Presentations: Delivering compelling sales presentations to showcase products and address customer needs and concerns.
  • Negotiation: Skillfully negotiating prices, terms, and contracts to secure sales and achieve mutual satisfaction.
  • Closing Deals: Successfully closing sales and finalizing transactions with customers.
  • Sales Follow-up: Providing post-sales support and ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis: Keeping abreast of market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and potential challenges.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintaining records of sales activities, tracking progress against targets, and reporting sales performance to supervisors or management.

  • Sales Forecasting: Providing input for sales forecasting and contributing to sales strategy development.
