Job Description
Part time opening with Camelback Compounding Pharmacy. This hybrid role is for 15-30 hours per week with long term potential to become a full time compounding position. Candidate must be a certified pharmacy technician with at least one year of experience preferred. Those with the ability to speak spanish will be given preference. This position involves both working in non-compounding environment involved with patient interaction, filling and packaging prescriptions, mailing prescriptions, processing prescriptions and answering phones plus non-sterile compounding in both USP 795 and 800 rooms upon completion of internal training. All work will be completed under the supervision of a pharmacist.
Candidate must be punctual, professional, polite and willing to learn and work hard. The ability to read, understand and follow exact instructions is key to compounding. Candidate must be able to stand for duration of shift and lift packages/containers weighing up to 25 lbs. Shift times may be flexible, however a minimum availability of 3-4 days a week is required.
