Commercial Custodian

Join Office Pride of Northeastern Indiana as a Commercial Custodian and become a vital part of our dedicated team. We are committed to providing top-notch cleaning services to our clients in Fort Wayne, IN, and creating a clean, welcoming environment for all. Enjoy a fulfilling job that allows you to make a difference every day! This position would be located in Plymouth & Bourbon Indiana. Plymouth acct: Wednesday & Friday 1 hr evening clean (Friday is weekend optional). Bourbon acct: Monday, Wednesday & Friday 1 hr clean (Friday is weekend optional).

Responsibilities include:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
• Sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies to ensure cleanliness and hygiene.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in accordance with safety protocols.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any issues to management.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as window washing and floor maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure quality service.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures while delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements include:

• Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour.
