Job Description
The Project Superintendent is responsible for hands on daily site management of construction projects from inception to completion. Will have direct knowledge and experience of heavy construction including underground utilities, pipelining, earthwork, reclamation, and other construction practices.
Project Superintendent responsibilities:
Reviews, understands, and implements construction project documents such as contracts, plans, specifications, drawings, job layout, sufficient to perform the responsibilities of this position.
Provide leadership, support and direction for 3-10 field employees
Motivate, delegate personnel and work with crews to maintain production rates and schedules
Responsibility on the job site includes but not limited to; assisting in the determination of manpower and equipment needs, project scheduling, equipment maintenance, tool and material requirements, and managing subcontractors.
Timely and accurate submittal of crew time to office daily
Ensure that company safety practices and procedures are maintained and followed at all times.
Participate in weekly planning and forecasting meetings
Effectively close out projects
Ability to learn and work with company software (Fountation, Heavy Bid) as well as Excel and Word programs
Bilingual (Spanish & English) a plus
Knowledge and experience running several pieces of construction equipment required, including but not limited to excavator, dozer, backhoe, skid steer, blade
Must meet all conditions of WyoDak Energy Services Drug and Alcohol testing requirements
Must have a valid driver’s license and motor vehicle record that meets company requirements
