Zantech is looking for a talented Cybersecurity Information System Security Officer to be responsible for technical cybersecurity efforts in coordination with the Lead ISSO, for an upcoming Onsite role supporting FEMA based out of their Headquarters in Washington, DC.

The Cyber ISSO will serve as point of contact for technical cybersecurity matters related to quantifying technical risk within the contract.

Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

• Support technical cybersecurity efforts agency-wide
• Coordinate with Lead ISSO on complex systems
• Quantify and communicate technical risk
• Conduct security control assessments
• Develop and maintain security documentation
• Perform vulnerability assessments
• Support continuous monitoring activities
• Assist with incident response coordination
• Provide technical cybersecurity guidance
• Works across all active call orders on assigned systems
• Directly reports to Compliance Branch
• May require emergency response deployment

Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:

• 5+ years in cybersecurity and information systems security
• NIST Risk Management Framework implementation
• Security control assessment and testing
• Vulnerability analysis and remediation
• Technical risk quantification
• Security authorization documentation
• Continuous monitoring processes
• Incident response procedures
• Configuration management
• Security testing methodologies

Required Certifications/Education:

• IAT Level III: CISSP, CISM, or CASP+

Required Security Clearance:

• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active Top Secret/SCI or higher clearance, per contract requirements.
