Position Summary Mint Hill Senior Living, through consulting with ALG Senior, is seeking a dynamic
Executive Director (ED) to lead our community. The ED will oversee all day-to-day operations, ensuring residents receive exceptional care and service. This role requires a leader who can effectively partner with staff, residents, families, vendors, providers, and regulatory agencies. The ED must be an excellent communicator, a problem-solver, and a compassionate leader who thrives in a customer-service driven environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Provide leadership and oversight for all departments, working closely with department heads to ensure resident, family, and associate satisfaction.
- Support, coach, and empower department heads in recruitment, retention, onboarding, staffing, and performance management. Step in as interim leadership when necessary.
- Operate within established budgetary guidelines, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
- Meet with residents and families regularly to address and resolve concerns, preferences, and feedback.
- Ensure compliance with all state, local, and federal regulations.
- Actively participate as a sales leader-supporting the marketing team, giving tours, and building relationships with prospective and current residents.
- Oversee property standards, ensuring the community environment is maintained to the highest quality and rooms are move-in ready.
Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years' leadership experience in assisted living, skilled nursing, or senior living industry preferred.
- Current North Carolina Assisted Living Administrator's License required.
- Strong history of hiring, directing, and managing staff successfully.
- Knowledge of DHSR regulations and must be certified and in good standing.
- Excellent communication skills with residents, families, staff, regulators, hospitals, and the public.
