Are you a hands-on leader with deep mechanical knowledge and a passion for keeping operations running smoothly?

Elecnor Belco is looking for a Fleet Manager in Texas to oversee our vehicle and equipment operations. This role is essential to maintaining our fleet’s performance, compliance, and reliability across all construction projects.

Duties:

• Oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and registrations for company vehicles and equipment
• Ensure full DOT, FMCSA, and CHP compliance, including logs, inspections, and safety protocols
• Supervise and train mechanics, promoting a safety-first, high-performance team culture
• Coordinate with Warehouse Manager, field teams, and vendors for tool and vehicle logistics
• Manage vehicle replacement plans, fuel usage, vendor contracts, and maintenance budgets
• Maintain accurate digital records and analyze fleet performance metrics for executive reporting
• Respond promptly to field and operational fleet needs

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet management or shop supervision (construction or heavy equipment preferred)
• In-depth knowledge of diesel and gas mechanics, DOT regulations, and preventive maintenance programs
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficient with fleet software, Microsoft Office, and documentation systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and safely operate vehicles and shop tools
