Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our team in a fast-paced food processing plant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position involves working within established FDA regulations, HACCP guidelines, and CGMP practices to maintain food safety and sanitation throughout the production process.

Duties

• Operate production equipment while adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation standards.
• Assist in the packaging of finished products, ensuring compliance with labeling and quality specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning and cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate records related to production output, quality control, and inventory management using basic math skills.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and resolve any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
• Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while operating forklifts or other machinery as required.
• Participate in ongoing training related to food processing, sanitation practices, and mechanical knowledge.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food production or manufacturing is preferred.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP standards, and overall food safety practices is essential.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Basic math skills for accurate record keeping and inventory management.
• Experience operating forklifts is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation within the workplace.
