Job Description:

• The Forklift Operator will report to the Warehouse Manager/Supervisor and will be responsible for packaging, wrapping and shipping products while overseeing the day-to-day activities of fulfillment associates.
• This position will partner closely with other warehouse departments therefore the ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly with a high attention to detail are key attributes. 
• The Forklift Operator will mentor and train team members on working accurately and being successful in their position.
• Drive Reach Truck.
• Provide day to day guidance to individuals in your area of responsibility in respect to quality, training and workflow.
• Drive and support process improvement activities
• Perform routine inventory cycle counts
• Partner with representatives from other departments in the organization to provide production information as requested
• Provide feedback to supervisors and managers as needed
• Enforce standard safety procedures within a production setting

 

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years’ experience in a production environment
• Ability to read, write and clearly communicate English
• High School level general math capability
• Must be able to operate Windows based PC
• Confidently present information and/or engage in discussion in one-on-one and small group situations with team members and other employees.
