We have partnered with a wonderful private school that is looking for an experienced  Spanish Teacher  to join their team for an amazing opportunity. This position comes with a competitive salary and great benefits.

The  Spanish  Teacher  is responsible for planning lessons and instructing Spanigh to students in high school and middle school grades. The  Spanish Teacher will provide leadership to ensure high standards of instructional service, oversee compliance with school policies, and ensure success of instructional programs. We are seeking an exceptional  Spanish Teacher to join our growing faculty and must be comfortable being in person on campus with students.

 

Responsibilities:

• Teach classes as assigned, providing effective and professional classroom instruction, assessment, and management.
• Teach Spanish to Middle & High school grades.
• Provide individual and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and on enhancing instructional practices and strategies.
• Timely and professional completion of required reports and tasks (e.g., lesson plans, grades, correspondence with parents and students, examinations and quizzes, attendance, etc.).
• Help to maintain school policies, regulations, and expectations.
• Develop and maintain professional, collaborative, and collegial relationships with faculty and staff, as well as with community partners to the benefit of students and classes.
• Participate in in-service workshops, meetings, sessions, and all other defined activities, as well as other areas of school life.
• Represent the school at community or public events in the highest ethical manner.
• Be responsible at all times for the supervision of students in your care during classes and for students generally at all times when on campus or off campus.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree, Masters Preferred. 
• At least two years of Spanish teaching experience.
• Project based learning experience preferred.
• Private school experience preferred.
