ImmunityBio Temporary Medical Call Center Representative

Position Summary

The IB Temporary - Medical Call Center Representative often serves as the initial contact for the public and many company affiliates of ImmunityBio and our products. This position will respond to a variety of telephone inquiries regarding ImmunityBio's products, greet and assist visitors to Company facilities, and provide administrative assistance to management and staff as requested.

Essential Functions

• Answer telephone inquiries from external parties regarding ImmunityBio's products. Clarify desired information and respond to requests using standard procedures and detailed product references.
• Document inquiries and input requestors' information to maintain contact database.
• Greet clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person's visit and directs or escorts them to the appropriate location.
• Answer visitors' questions, calls, and emails, and provide them with relevant information.
• Follow Security procedures and issue visitor badges.
• Assist in the collection of swabs for COVID and other testing as needed.
• Organize the reception area while complying with office procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Sign for deliveries and ensure all mail and packages are distributed accordingly.
• Perform administrative support as requested by management and staff, including opening and distributing mail, maintaining files, ordering office supplies, and preparing routine correspondence and reports.
• Enhance organization reputation by providing excellent service to external parties interested in ImmunityBio.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
• 2 years of receptionist or call center experience required
• Experience in a medical or medical insurance office, pharmacy or health science environment would be helpful
• Medical Assistant Certification or Pharmaceutical Technician experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• General knowledge of medical and/or pharmaceutical terminology
• Exceptional verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Friendly and pleasant manner
• Strong Data entry skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Working Environment / Physical Environment

• This role will work on-site at our El Segundo, CA location.
• The position will provide coverage from 6 am to 6 pm by covering one of two shifts: 6 am 3 pm or 9 am 6 pm
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Compensation

The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications, prior experience as well as geographic location. $25.20 (entry-level qualifications) to $28.00 (highly experienced) per hour
