Position Title: Machine Operator

Wage: $19.50/hour + $2.50/hour Shift Differential

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 2:00pm – 12:30am

Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate assigned screw machines and related equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect manufactured parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional standards.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and make routine equipment adjustments as needed.
- Read and interpret simple blueprints and production documents, when applicable.
- Use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify part specifications.
- Conduct basic machine setups under supervision or per instructions.
- Accurately complete production and quality documentation.
- Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and production goals.

Requirements for Machine Operator:
- Able to perform tasks with direct supervision or clear instructions
- Basic machine operation and mechanical aptitude
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic math skills for measurement and part verification
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to bend and crouch throughout shift
- Able to work in noisy environments
- Dexterity to handle small objects
