Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Pipe Welders for projects located in and around San Diego, CA . This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $40/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Weld a Variety of Metal Surfaces or Pipe Using Various Types of Welding Equipment
Welds Shell Plating, Fabricated Cast or Forged Components According to Specifications for Vessels, Tasks or other Structural Assemblies
Repair and Install of Various Piping Systems
Weld Groove Joints in Potential Restricted Positions
Perform Cutting and Gouging with Carbon Electrodes to Cut, Shape, and Groove Metal
Other Tasks as Assigned
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 Years of Recent Experience of Flux-Core Arc Welding (FCAW) in all positions on Shipyards, with both Pipe and Structural Welding; Experience Welding CuNi (Copper Nickel) Piping
Pass Various Weld Tests
Able to work all Shifts
US, Naturalized Citizen or Permanent Resident
Able to Pass a Drug Screen and Background Check
OSHA 10, Maritime, Firewatch, and Respirator Fit Certifications; TI does offer OSHA Course to those who have yet to obtain the Certification
Able to Comprehend Written and Verbal Instructions, Safety Instructions, Regulations and Warnings
Comfortable Working in Confined Spaces, at Heights and Wearing a Respirator
