Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the electrical enclosure industry, is seeking a Mig Welder Third to join their team. As a Mig Welder Third, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: MIG Welder 

Location: Scott City, MO

Pay Range: $16 per hour

What's the Job?

• Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture products to customer drawings and specifications.
• Build products based on blueprints with detailed accuracy.
• Utilize hand tools and perform simple math and decimal to fraction conversions.
• Perform preventive maintenance and set up welding equipment as required.
• Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year of tig welding experience required.
• Previous fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
• Capability to bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
