Introduction: I'm Jeff Lenn, a dietician, nutritionist, and food product developer. In 2017, I founded Satisfill Foods LLC, located in Berkeley, CA. For the past six years, we have been developing a revolutionary diet called the Satisfill Diet, based on the Science of Appetite Fulfillment. This diet we be marketed through our website as – “The easiest diet to follow on the market today. The thing that makes the Satisfill Diet so easy is our mobile app.”
Qualifications: We need someone with expertise and experience developing health, diet, and nutrition apps. The Satisfill Diet app will be a weight loss app that involves food, nutrition, recipes, and meal plans. It will include barcode scanning, as well as weight and exercise tracking.
All the major components of the Satisfill Diet have been fully developed – the Food List, Recipe List, and a 28-Day Meal Plan. The diet has been tried and tested, and it works manually. It now needs to become fully automated as a mobile app.
Scope of Work: Having reviewed and evaluated several diet and weight loss apps on the market, we feel that this app will be a simple app, with basic functionality. Given the proliferation of these apps on the market, there should be existing app development software available, so as to minimize or eliminate the need for customized coding. This app will need to work on both iOS and Android devices, particularly smart phones.
Location: This is not a job that can be done remotely. You must live in the greater SF Bay Area and be available to meet periodically at the Satisfill offices in Berkeley.
Compensation: We have budgeted $5,000 to $10,000 for the development of this app, including about 90 days for completion of the project.
