Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished and results-driven NetSuite Principal Consultant specializing in commerce solutions to join our team of experts. This senior-level role is critical in delivering transformative NetSuite ERP and Suite Commerce implementations, aligning technology solutions with business objectives to enable seamless digital commerce experiences. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in NetSuite Commerce, have successfully led 6+ full-cycle Suite Commerce implementations, and demonstrate the ability to act as a strategic advisor to clients in optimizing their eCommerce operations. This position demands a combination of technical acumen, business process knowledge, and leadership capabilities to drive client success and deliver measurable outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Consulting & Solution Design Collaborate with executive stakeholders to assess business needs and define comprehensive commerce solutions leveraging NetSuite ERP and SuiteCommerce. Develop and architect tailored NetSuite Commerce solutions, encompassing SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA), SuiteCommerce Standard, and related modules. Integrate eCommerce functionality with core business processes, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and financial reporting, ensuring end-to-end alignment. Recommend best practices for digital transformation, focusing on scalability, omnichannel strategies, and enhancing customer experience. Lead and manage 6+ full-cycle Suite Commerce implementations, delivering projects on time, within budget, and exceeding client expectations. Oversee all phases of the implementation lifecycle, including discovery, solution design, configuration, customization, testing, training, and go-live. Ensure successful integration of Suite Commerce with third-party applications such as payment gateways, shipping providers, CRM, and marketing platforms. Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and drive resolution of any functional or technical issues. Client Relationship Management Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering strategic recommendations that align with business goals and industry trends. Act as the primary liaison between client stakeholders and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Provide post-implementation support, including performance monitoring, system optimizations, and continuous improvements. Lead cross-functional teams, mentoring junior consultants and fostering collaboration to achieve project objectives. Conduct workshops and training sessions for clients to promote effective use of NetSuite Commerce solutions. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and NetSuite enhancements, sharing knowledge to drive innovation within the team. Performance Optimization Identify opportunities to optimize SuiteCommerce functionality for improved site performance, SEO, and user experience. Implement advanced analytics and reporting capabilities to provide actionable insights into eCommerce performance and customer behavior. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in NetSuite ERP consulting, with at least 3+ years specializing in Suite Commerce implementations. Proven success in delivering 6+ end-to-end NetSuite implementations, including Suite Commerce Advanced, Suite Commerce Standard, or SuiteCommerce InStore. Strong expertise in digital commerce, omnichannel retail strategies, and customer experience optimization. Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA), SuiteCommerce Standard, and associated NetSuite modules such as WMS, SCM, and Financials. Hands-on experience with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteBuilder for customizations and workflows. Familiarity with front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) and their application in SuiteCommerce customization. Proficient in integrating NetSuite Commerce with third-party platforms, including payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal), shipping solutions (e.g., FedEx, UPS), and CRM tools. Advanced understanding of APIs, middleware solutions (e.g., Boomi, Celigo), and data migration strategies. Soft Skills Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions at senior levels. Exceptional problem-solving capabilities with a focus on delivering innovative and scalable solutions. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging with diverse stakeholders. Preferred Skills & Certifications: NetSuite ERP Consultant Certification or SuiteCommerce Advanced Developer Certification. Expertise in SEO, web performance optimization, and digital marketing strategies. Familiarity with Agile or Scrum project management methodologies. Knowledge of analytics tools such as NetSuite Analytics Warehouse, Power BI, or Tableau for generating actionable insights.
