Excellent opportunity for an experienced Pediatric or Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic Pediatric Team.

In this role, you will:

• Assess, diagnose, stabilize, coordinate and manage care of normal/compromised newborn
• Perform complete physical examinations, analyze diagnostic data, initiate and direct interventions and evaluate treatment effect on newborns.
• Collaborate with the health team to establish and implement plans of care
• Handle clinical care of the newborn, while maintaining close communication with parents and pediatricians.
• Attend all deliveries that require a Pediatric presence.

We require:

• Completion of an accredited nurse Practitioner program with current NYS Licensure/registration
• FNP
• ANCC, PNP
• Experience with the care of the of ages 0-1 month (Well Baby Nursery)
• NRP certification and be able to attend deliveries
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential
