Join PediaStaff as a School Occupational Therapist!

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Frankfort, IL, to fill an upcoming FMLA leave from November 3 to February 13. This position focuses on supporting elementary and junior high students with mild to moderate needs.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• Licensed in Illinois as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous school experience preferred

Role Overview:

As a School Occupational Therapist, you will assess student needs, create individualized therapy plans, and provide targeted interventions to help students succeed academically and socially. You will play a vital role in a supportive school setting, making a significant impact on students' development.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 5 days per week, 35 hours
• Dates: August 18 - October 7, 2025 (with additional leave from Nov - Feb)
• Hours: 32.5 billable hours per week
• Setting: Elementary and junior high schools
• Caseload: Focus on elementary and intermediate grades in two schools
• In-person only

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students' motor, sensory, and functional skills to identify needs and develop personalized therapy plans.
• Implement targeted occupational therapy interventions aligned with students' IEPs, promoting academic and developmental success.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to each student's unique needs.
• Contribute to IEP development by providing insights on motor development, sensory needs, and appropriate accommodations.
