ABOUT THE STUDIO:

We’re a little wedding photo + film team dedicated to capturing the moments that matter most. We do 200+ weddings per year, LOVE serving our clients, and our clients love us (pretty sure we're the highest rated studio in the state).

ABOUT YOU (hopefully!):

We’re currently looking for a warm, down-to-earth Assistant who loves serving people on one of the most meaningful days of their lives <3 We need someone that is others-oriented, can focus, work efficiently, self-start, and take constructive criticism. While this job does demand growth, the work environment is playful and up lifting. Our team is small so every person we hire truly does make a big difference to the company and our clients. We pull from the Assistant Program to hire our full-timers so if it's a good match there's room for growth and long term commitment.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Assisting on wedding shoots by holding a reflector, working our lights, caring for clients (adjusting the dress, holding bags, crowd control). But most important, love our clients as much as we do! This job is very performance based, so if it seems like a consistent great fit there's room to grow into other roles. We're going to be honest, this job is not for everyone. Wedding and event capture is a LOT of work. It's high stakes, high pressure, high performance all one one of the most meaningful days of someone's life. And for the right person, that makes the job amazing. We're looking for those people

This is primarily a seasonal job April - October with most shoots in the evenings and on weekends (Thursday - Saturday). Minimum 20hrs (3-4 shoots) per month.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Client facing personality (friendly, personable, professional, others oriented, etc.).
• Ability to work independently with high accountability and in a team dynamic.
• Willing to be a self-starter and remain on task with little supervision.
• Humble, eager to learn.
• Reliable (this is crucial!).
• Basic camera knowledge (Sony's a plus).
• Basic Photography skills.
• Basic Troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Wedding shoot experience.
