🚨 Hiring: Sr. Product Owner – Insurance Domain Expertise

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have deep industry experience in the Insurance domain, excellent business communication skills, and strong hands-on SQL capabilities to work closely with stakeholders, data teams, and engineering to transform business needs into clearly defined and actionable product requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the development team
✅ Translate business goals, user needs, and market trends into actionable features and user stories
✅ Lead requirements gathering, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and product roadmap development
✅ Write clear and detailed user stories with acceptance criteria
✅ Partner with UX designers and technical leads to shape product experiences
✅ Use SQL to perform ad-hoc data analysis to validate business cases and product usage
✅ Prioritize backlog effectively to deliver business value and product enhancements
✅ Conduct regular reviews and demos with business and leadership stakeholders
✅ Drive data-informed decisions to optimize the product roadmap
Required Qualifications:
✔️ 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager
✔️ Strong domain expertise in the Insurance industry (Health, Life, or P&C preferred)
✔️ Proven experience gathering requirements and delivering complex business solutions
✔️ Excellent verbal and written communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
✔️ Proficient in SQL – able to write and interpret complex queries independently
✔️ Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like JIRA, Confluence
✔️ Familiarity with data products, APIs, or platforms is a plus
✔️ Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
✔️ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
