Job Description

Our client, a leader in the medical equipment industry, is seeking a Test Technician to join their team. As a Test Technician, you will be part of the engineering department supporting the quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Test Technician

Location: Peabody, MA (will move to Salem, NH in the near future)

Schedule: 6:30am-4pm, Monday to Thursday, and every other Friday 6:30am-3pm (flexible: could start 30min earlier)

Pay Range: $26 - $29 (Based on skills and experience)

What's the Job?

• Test and adjust amplifiers to meet customer specifications.
• Maintain and calibrate test stations and associated equipment to meet industry standards.
• Advise the team on testing and quality issues.
• Perform basic troubleshooting to resolve simple problems.
• Provide necessary data to the repair and quality acceptance teams.

What's Needed?

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a related role.
• Basic theory understanding of analog and digital circuit, op-amp and semiconductor.
• Knowledge of basic electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, and inductors.
• Familiarity with digital multimeters (DMM) and oscilloscopes.
• Ability to troubleshoot non-complex circuits and be able to follow schematics.
