Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center (LTYC) in Washington, D.C. is seeking a talented Theatre Instructor to join our team. As a Theatre Instructor, you will have the opportunity to nurture young talents, foster creativity, and instill confidence in our students through engaging theatre programs. Responsibilities Create engaging and interactive lesson plans for theatre classes. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and creativity. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help develop their acting skills. Coordinate and direct rehearsals for plays and performances. Collaborate with other instructors to organize and execute theatre events and showcases. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Theatre or related field Previous experience teaching theatre to youth Effective classroom management abilities Compensation $30 - $35 hourly About Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center (LTYC) Through arts education programs and more, Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center enriches the lives of thousands of underserved youth in the Maryland, D.C., and Virginia school systems, empowering them to develop their artistic talents and achieve their greatest potential. Many of our students come from schools in Baltimore City and surrounding areas that are in dire need of arts education and behavioral intervention.
