Job Description

We are seeking a professional window cleaner with at least 3 years of experience to join our team. You will be responsible for window, screen, gutter cleaning, and power washing as a tech, using standard industry techniques. You will also be responsible for carrying, setting up, and climbing numerous ladders, including a 24’, 36’, and 40’ extension ladder, to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with staff and customers in a professional, clear, and courteous manner
• Train staff and communicate with the management
• Keep updated customer reports in an online database
• Work efficiently, from top to bottom and around the job site as pre-planned
• Understand who is doing what to avoid duplication of work
• Ensure all windows are clean and streak-free, wiping sills, frames, exposed tracks, and anything else that would make a window look perfect
• Clean tempered glass and windows with film
• Remove, replace, and clean different types of screens
• Clean gutters and ensure the job site is cleaned up after job completion
• Recognize defects in glass and screens and communicate clearly to customers

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of professional window cleaning experience
• Attention to detail to ensure all windows are clean and streak-free
• Knowledge of tempered glass and how to clean it, windows with film, and different types of screens
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work comfortably with ladders
• Excellent communication skills to effectively lead the team, communicate with customers, and give instructions
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to calculate estimates
• Neat appearance, punctuality, motivation, honesty, dependability, and attention to detail
• Understanding of ladder safety and window cleaning safety

Equipment Used:

• Variety of ladders, squeegees, buckets of water, power washer, and other window cleaning tools as necessary

Working Conditions:

• Work is both indoors and outdoors at various locations, including residential and occasionally commercial
• May be expected to work in cold temperatures during winter months or hot temperatures in summer
