We are seeking a strong-willed and organized Customer Service Representative - Import/Export Logistics Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Considered the "Voice of Hensley" and represents the company through daily customer interactions.
  • Demonstrates understanding and knowledge of Hensley products support promotion of Company's products.
  • Process orders, evaluate open orders and arrange shipments per customer's instructions for both Domestic and International customers.
  • Interact and coordinate with freight forwarders and Hensley logistics department to ship Hensley products to every corner of the world.
  • Develop understanding international logistics requirements to prepare and maintain documents packages for overseas shipments. Work closely with Customers and Outside Sales Reps to resolve issues related to logistics.
  • Manage all aspects of import and export shipments from start to finish. Prepare, analyze, and process documentation including Bills of Lading, Delivery Orders, Cargo Manifests, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, Shipper Export Declarations
  • Support Hensley's Management and Export Control team in overseeing day-to-day business functions, procedures and compliance.
  • Maintain and organize documentation files, material pricing, and inventory records
  • Ensure all activities comply with international shipping laws and regulations.
  • Audit and review freight forwarders and logistics invoices and documents for approval.
  • Exhibit a positive, professional image in appearance, words and actions.
  • Develop techniques and procedures to improve and maximize current company's Impot and Export processes.
  • Audit Import and Export processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Must be willing to learn and comply with the Komatsu Worldwide Code of Business Conduct, KAC Code of Conduct, Hensley Environmental Policies, Hensley Safety Policies and Hensley Quality Policies.

Requirements:

  • 4-year Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 -5 years of Import & Export / International Logistics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Shows an ability to manage time to complete tasks
  • Trustworthy and is a good ambassador for Hensley
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word)
  • Experience with CRM software: Salesforce and SAP
  • Experience in Customs Regulations
  • Knowledge of Export Control and Compliance
  • Knowledge of International Shipping documents
  • Knowledge and experience in Customer Service
  • Knowledge of Export Control and Compliance is preferred
