About the PositionThe Pediatrician will join a team working at a large FQHQ in a medically underserved community focusing mainly on Pediatric patients under the age of 18. You will need to be comfortable treating children and adolescents during evaluation, treatment, and management. Although many patients will come to you with acute issues, you will also need to screen for all chronic diseases. This position may also include clinical oversight for mid-level providers. Although you will have scheduled hours to work in the clinic, you will also need to be available for on-call services as required in addition to clinical or operations-related meetings that may take place after-hours.

Since then, the agency has expanded to 10 clinics in Houston, one in Baytown, two in Beaumont, and one in Deer Park with extensive services that include: Adult primary care, HIV/AIDS care, pediatrics, OB/GYN and maternity, dental, vision and behavioral health.
